General stuff
Glied - rank
Reihe - file
Aufgemerkt - Attention
Can be enhanced, to address certain parts of the formation:
Hellebardiere, aufgemerkt - halberds, attention
Erstes Glied, aufgemerkt - first rank, attention
Erste und zweite Reihe, aufgemerkt - first and second file, attention
etc.
Get in formation
Herstellt euch - Form standard battle company (all Rottmeister in first rank, Rotten behind them)
Herstellt euch in Marschformation - Form standard march company (4 ranks, sorted by Rotten)
Herstellt euch in Schlachtformation - same as first, form standard battle company. But, given in motion, the command initiates a smooth transition
Herstellt euch in x Reihen - Company, in close order, form x ranks. Build the formation with the given amount of ranks
Herstellt euch in x Gliedern - same like before, with files
Richt euch - get in position (set the right distances to the others)
Turning
Rechts um - Right turn
Links um - Left turn
Kehrt um - About turn
Marching
Vorwärts voran - Go
Ganzer Schritt - Normal speed
Halber Schritt - Half speed
Kürzer treten - One step slower
Länger treten - One step faster
Sturmlauf - Assault run
Das Ganze steht - Stand fast
Duppliert euch - double the files (closed ranks at the end of execution)
Halbiert euch - halve the files
Links beschließt die Glieder - close the ranks, to the left (first file stays in place)
Rechts beschließt die Glieder - close the ranks, to the right (last file stays)
Links und rechts beschließt die Glieder - close the ranks, to the left and right (first and last files remain, a gap opens in the middle)
In Reihen kehrt um - About turn in files. A turn in motion, order of files remain the same
Schwenkt nach links - A big turn in motion to left, ranks stay together
Schwenkt nach rechts - A big turn in motion to right, ranks stay together
Weapons
Die Wehren auf - mount arms
Die Wehren ab - ground arms
Schultert die Wehr - slope arms
Schleift die Wehr - drag arms on ground
Durch die Pforte senkt die Wehr - activate brains and don't run with mounted arms in obstacles
Die Wehr zum Angriff - decline weapons towards enemy
Von hinten zu fällt die Wehr - Last file should turn and decline weapons
Fällt die Wehr zur Seite - first and last rank, turn outside and decline weapons
Igel - stupid formation against cavalry attacks
Pflanzt die Wehr - in field: build funny tripods and rest. in camp: dismissed.
